- "I chose SAC because I was interested in the Countryside Management course. I particularly enjoyed the Habitat Management module which gives us the chance to look at how different people and organisations manage their land. the learning environment on campus is great. It is friendly and people are always willing to help if you have a problem. I am now studying the degree, having initially studied the HND, after which I hope to get a job as a countryside ranger."

- Course content *****
- The Interior Design Environment Architectures (IDEA) course offers all students the chance to explore design. The wide range of projects offers the opportunity for students to challenge their potential in creating urban environments and regenerating huge areas to fine detailing on single buildings in retail and office design. Students are required to not only look at design but also the social context involved in pushing the boundaries.

- Course content *****
- I found the whole course an excellent experience. It sets a good pace of learning. The tutor has a great sense of humour, good sound knowledge of his subject and associated areas such as health & safety issues, working on personal projects or on building sites etc. The course gives a great awareness of the basics to bricklaying and is very helpful to guide you to look at some of the more advanced courses available. The tutor, Dougie is a true Star. Im a disabled female and he allowed me to get on with the course whilst ensuring that health & safety was paramount not only to me but to everyone on the course. I had brilliant fun but wasnt able to finish the last day of the course due to getting an ear infection! The course is so cheap that I will probably do it again next month : )
- Student facilities *****
- There is a classroom which is pretty much like all classrooms, tables, chairs board on the wall etc. All pretty standard, but most of the work happens outside in the playground as you will be building walls! Having a pen to take notes is a good idea as well as suitable clothes and boots. You will get a little dirty but its soooo much fun that you'll not mind a bit of muck.
- Social life *****
- Everyone on the course was lovely. We all chipped in and helped each other out. A really lovely environment. The class was small about half a dozen or so and the mix was majority female then a few dropped out and it became fairly balanced ratio of male to female students. As mentioned before I missed the last class so not able to swap telephone numbers. I highly recommend this course just simply as a life experience, how many people would believe that you can build a brick wall? Have fun, Melly

- Career in Housing
- Cavendish College
- Manley, June 2007
- Overall rating
- Course content *****
- I did not have any knowledge of Housing when I started. By the third week, I begun to gain confidence in my ability to understand the policies and the legislation that are used by Local Authorities in assessing homeless people. This was definitely value for money for me and my future aspirations or directions. I am looking forward to my placement with glee after undertaking an excellent training programme.
- Student facilities *****
- Training was conducted in an excellent venue. You cannot go wrong with Harrow College facilities.
- Social life *****
- Learning atmosphere is very congenial with everyone pulling together as led by the tutor. I have made new friends in the process.

- The whole set up is well thought of and there are two classrooms in the training centre and a large office area where theory lessons are taught including the Business Start Up seminar
- Social life *****
