  • Top quality
BCNH - UK College of Nutrition and Health
    John, December 2006
    Overall rating *****
    Course content *****
I selected BCNH over ION and have just completed my diploma. The course is very intensive and hard work but what you get in the end is a top quality qualification to be proud of. I have dealt with other nutritional therapists from other colleges over the years. None come close to those trained at BCNH. The training focuses on evidence based nutritional and food therapy and encourages intensive research and excellent clinical practice.

If you are looking for an interesting and challenging course in Nutrition, look no further! I am a first year student at BCNH after researching other colleges/ places of study. The course is scientifically and medically based - keeping you informed of the latest research and findings. It also goes 'back to basics' giving you the all important background knowledge you require. Highly recommended!

  • Distance Studies from a Reputable University
London School Of Hygiene And Tropical Medicine
    Bethany, February 2007
    Overall rating *****
    Course content *****
This degree is a lot of hard work, but definitely worth it. The degree you get is the same as if you had been studying in London, at the school. The school has a long history of academic excellence and has offered distance studies for over a century! If you want a degree that will be recognized and advance you in your field, I would recommend the University of London's External Program.

    Open University (The)
    Alison, March 2007
    Overall rating *****
    Course content *****
I completed an Open University course- social work diploma. For those of you who think that Open University is boring people with nothing better to do with their time, you are wrong. Open University let work and study at the same time and the social work qualifications gives you a ticket to enter the social care area and work with some interesting people in society. Give it a go.

The course hanged on the lecturer Mickey Yudkin. She was amazing. Thoroughly knowledgeable about her subject. An enabler - she drew out her students which led to a cohesive class that respected one another. She enabled students to connect and engage with the subject and also each other.

I completed the MA in Disability Studies by Distance Learning and it was fantastic. I learnt so much that has proved invaluable in my work environment. Although working full-time and doing a course is difficult, the tutors are great and it is do-able! The course seriously changed the way that I look at society. Its a big eye opener!

  • Counselling Psychology
    Birkbeck, University Of London
    Natalie , March 2007
    Overall rating *****
    Course content *****
The course was very insightful. It gave me an insight into the different areas of counselling and it also helped me to understand more about myself and others. It has inspired me to look into courses in CBT and for me to first help myself before helping others. I thoroughly enjoyed the course and hope to progress further.
