  • ADI Training
Approved Driving Instructor - Part One Theory Course
    Driving Training Centre
    Anon, June 2007
    Overall rating *****
    Course content ****
I found the training for Part 1 and Part 2 to be spot on, I passed both parts first time. Part 3, to be honest, I thought was the best part. I feel that they truely do train you to become a Driving Instructor and not to pass the exam. I had gone to TIC initially, and they told me I could do it in a week. I was nearly sold on it and can say I am extremely grateful to DTC. They dont push the sale, they just tell you the fact and thier results speak for themselves.
    Student facilities *****
DTC has all the resourses and facilities required. Infact more than enough, I had full use of these facilities. I particulary found the In Car Video a excellent study aid.
    Social life *****
I found going to classes a real pleasure. I looked forward to attending the classes.

    Day Skipper Practical Certificate (RYA)
    Safeena Sailing
    Anon, July 2007
    Overall rating *****
    Course content *****
Covered the course quickly but with time to review areas not fully grasped initially, Lots of experience and fun tales. We were taught in a small group which was very supportive and we were all enthusiastic to go every time.
    Student facilities ****
We were taught round a large kitchen table, with an essential white board. Space to get out a chart and note books. Very relaxing, but not so much as we could go to sleep!!
    Social life *****
As mentioned before we were just a small group 4, because we wanted to do the course when it was unavailable else where. Each of us knew one of the group before, but by the end have become good friends (we are talking of doing the Day Skipper Practical together next year) what more can you say. We look forward to catching up after our sailing trips this summer.

Shore based sailing courses can be quite a dry subject matter but with a good and enthusiastic tutor and students makes it possible to inject some salt water into the course. The course is deep and every useful for all useful skippers
