Training Course description
This course is designed for teaching or classroom assistants who work with high level of autonomy and take responsibility for group learning. This is suitable for those working in primary, secondary and special schools. It will provide the candidate with the ability to help organise the learning environment, the principles and practice of inclusion, health and safety and the correct use of the schools resources. Core units of study include: contribute to the management of pupil behaviour; establish and maintain relationships with individual pupils and groups; support pupils during learning activities; review and develop their own professional practice. They are required to complete all the core units and any six optional units to achieve this qualification.
